Reports

LoudGears turns a verified result into a PDF report you can share with customers, suppliers, or reviewers. Reports can only be generated from a verified result.

Generate a report from a result

  1. Open the result. See Read a result.
  2. Choose Download PDF Packet.
  3. In Choose report language, pick 中文, English, or 日本語. English is selected by default. The report language is independent of the language you use in the app.
  4. Choose Generate PDF. The PDF downloads when it is ready.

You can also start a report from the project page with Generate report next to the latest accepted result.

What the report contains

The report is titled Wheel Structural Integrity & Real-World Load Analysis Report. What follows page 1 depends on the verdict.

A passed result gives four pages:

  1. Result: the verdict (CLEARED FOR PRODUCTION or STRUCTURAL ASSESSMENT · NOT RELEASED), the minimum safety factor against the 3.00 baseline, peak von Mises stress, maximum displacement and net wheel weight, each with a plain-language explanation, and three views of the stress field with a colour key. Each view marks where the peak stress (MAX) occurs and its value, when that point is visible from that angle.
  2. Application guidance: a driver Q&A, and installation and maintenance advice.
  3. Engineering basis and validation: the engineering basis of the load case, the analysis parameters (material, loads and solver residual) with what each means, and how LoudGears is built on real wheels and TÜV-certified references.
  4. About the analysis: how FEA and LoudGears work, with two documented road-fracture cases from earlier-generation wheels.

A result that is not released (FEA FAILED or review required) gives the result page followed by the design revision advice, one page per region to revise. Page 1 states the shortfall against the 3.00 threshold and names where the peak is. Each advice page shows a close-up of the region, a whole-wheel locator, numbered revision actions with sizes, the measurements and the basis. If no advice can be computed, a single page says so. The driver Q&A and background pages are left out, because they describe a released design. See LoudGears Design Advisor.

For a passed result, the weight-reduction advice has its own PDF. See Weight-reduction advice.

Every value in the report comes from the verified result of that run. Each page footer carries the run's Operation ID and the start of its evidence hash, so a report can always be traced back to its result.

Brand the report with your workspace

The first two pages of every report show your workspace name and logo. Until you upload a logo, a WS placeholder appears.

Workspace owners and administrators set these in Workspace management under Report workspace branding:

  • Workspace logo: PNG or JPEG. It is resized to 320 px automatically and must be 128 KB or smaller after resizing.
  • Workspace name: choose Save name after editing.

The change applies to reports generated afterwards.

The report library

Reports & Exports lists verified results from across the workspace.

  • Search by project or geometry, and filter by verdict.
  • Each row shows the project and geometry, verdict, peak stress, safety factor, and last update.
  • Select one or more rows, then:
    • Download summary PDF: a summary for the selected results;
    • Archive: moves them to the Archived view;
    • Restore: brings archived entries back;
    • Delete from library: removes the entries from Reports & Exports only.

Deleting from the library does not delete the run, its signed result, or the audit record. You can always generate the report again from the project.

On the project page, FEA reports shows the results and reports from the five latest runs of that project.
