Getting started

Explore the demo

The demo lets you work with a real LoudGears result before you sign up or install anything. It creates no project, starts no analysis, and uses no credits.

Open the demo

  • On the Web: choose Demo in the top navigation of loudgears.com.
  • In ForgeNode: on a workstation that does not have an active license yet, choose Explore Demo on the dashboard. This opens a copy of the demo that is installed with ForgeNode and works offline.

What you are looking at

The demo shows a real run of the downloadable demo wheel on the current 5 mm route: the surface mesh (266,700 nodes), the nodal results, and the wheel's B-Rep geometry from an actual LoudGears solve under a Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205) fitment load case. The run took 1 min 55 s.

ItemValue

The banner REAL ARCHIVED RUN · READ-ONLY DEMO is a reminder that this is not your design or your loads, and not engineering release evidence for any part.

Things to try

  1. Switch fields. Use the tabs to move between VM Stress, Displacement, and Safety Factor.
  2. Move the model. Left-drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, and middle-drag to pan. Fit view resets the camera; Full screen enlarges the viewer.
  3. Find the hotspots. On VM Stress, keep Top 5 hotspots on. The right-hand panel shows the peak value and the Fail threshold line.
  4. Probe a point. Turn on Point probe, then click the wheel to read the stress at that surface node. Clear probes removes them.
  5. See the deflection. On Displacement, move the Deformation slider from Undeformed to Auto exaggeration or Strong exaggeration.
  6. Inspect the CAD. Open Geometry Inspection and turn on B-Rep edges to see the original CAD faces and edges, and measure them in mm.
  7. Read the conclusion. Scroll down to Applied load case and Conclusion.
